Easter has a different meaning to kids than us adults and different meaning depending on your faith. Easter does signal revival and spring. To children it signals chocolate easter bunnies, egg hunts, jelly beans, marshmellow peeps. Having to behave and get dressed up in your Sunday best ( and stay clean don't figit ! ) When your young and full of energy it's hard to keep your hands off the chocolate , stay clean and not to figit!
We adults forget or maybe we just envy the amount of energy kids have.
I know ,I wish I had thier energy. I wish I where younger ( I just don't want to have to go thru school again )
So just remember at some point in the day you will catch up with your kids as thier clock winds down ( they always go full steam ) . You'll get some me time ,even if it is only 5 minutes. Happy Holidays
